1) Purpose of the Policy
Prevent, detect, and respond with mitigating controls to the risk of Modern Slavery occurring within All Care 4 You, its supply chain, or in any other business relationships.
Demonstrate All Care 4 You’s commitment to doing business with those who fully comply with the Act and oppose any form of modern slavery.
Ensure compliance with the Act (as may be amended from time to time).
2) Scope
Applies to all persons working for and with All Care 4 You or on its behalf in any capacity, including:
Employees
Directors
Officers
Volunteers
External consultants
Third-party representatives
Business partners
3) Policy Statement
All Care 4 You has a zero-tolerance approach to Modern Slavery.
Committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all business dealings.
Enforces effective systems and controls to prevent Modern Slavery.
Ensures transparency across all business and supply chain practices.
Everyone working with or for All Care 4 You is responsible for preventing, detecting, and reporting Modern Slavery.
Employees and contractors are encouraged to report concerns to their manager or the Governance Director.
Expects the same high standards from all contractors, suppliers, and business partners.
Contracting processes include specific prohibitions against the use of forced, trafficked, or slave labor (including children or adults).
4) Risk of Modern Slavery
All Care 4 You continually reviews its operations to assess risk exposure to Modern Slavery.
Current assessment shows the risk is very low due to the nature of the business.
Anti-slavery clauses are included in all agreements requiring compliance from staff, clients, agents, and subcontractors.
5) Effectiveness of Our Policies and Processes
Continuously monitors and updates anti-slavery and human rights programs.
Maintains a strong no-retaliation policy as outlined in the Whistleblower Policy.
Encourages ethical reporting without fear of retaliation.
Reviews existing policies and procedures regularly to ensure ongoing compliance and effectiveness.
Promotes a safe work environment for reporting ethical concerns.
6) How to Report Modern Slavery Concerns
If you suspect incidents of modern slavery:
Report to your immediate supervisor.
Supervisors may escalate to:
Local law enforcement
National hotlines for human trafficking
NGOs like International Organization for Migration (IOM), Amnesty International
International organizations like UNODC or the International Labour Organization (ILO)
Anti-Slavery International via https://www.antislavery.org/contact-us/
If abroad, contact the local embassy or consulate for support.
Search for the relevant helpline in the country you are in.
7) Monitoring, Review, and Performance Information
Managed by the Head of Procurement:
Records and monitors incidents or reports related to Modern Slavery.
Handles all reports in line with confidentiality policy.
Strengthens centralized procurement policies considering modern slavery risks.
Ensures business personnel stay educated and up-to-date on Modern Slavery awareness and prevention.
8) Internal Training and Awareness
Policies and risk plans are reviewed annually.
Promotes awareness through training, announcements, memos, meetings, newsletters, and digital platforms.
Commitment to eradicating Modern Slavery is communicated internally and externally.
Training is provided to internal staff to ensure industry best practices are upheld.
9) Continuous Improvement
Regularly reviews related documents and policies to improve practices.
New individuals and businesses are informed of All Care 4 You’s stance against Modern Slavery.
